Car shows or meetings in 2023
Hi.
This is Peter from Germany.
In 2023 from 06/21/23 to 07/05/2023 we will do our vacation on the westside of the USA.
Are there any good shows or car meetings in this period?
regards
Peter

A few suggestions...
Bay Area
The dates might not align, but there's a nice Porsche Cars & Coffee (C&C) event on the 1st Saturday of each month at EASY (just across the street from the Pixar Studios in Emeryville).
More info here: https://rennlist.com/forums/west-us-...the-month.html
Another interesting place to visit is Canepa in Scotts Valley. They also hold C&C events, including tours of their awesome workshops: https://canepa.com/category/news/can...rs-and-coffee/
You'll have to check their website as you get closer to arriving in the Bay Area, to see what days they're actually holding the C&C events next summer.
But here's an example of the kinda cars they have: https://rennlist.com/forums/west-us-...es-a-tour.html
Los Angeles
Not an area I know well, but I have gone to the Petersen Museum, and it's great: https://www.petersen.org/
One thing I recommend is making a reservation to visit the Vault (they've more cars down there, than actually on display). For example, I saw one of the four 968 Turbo RS cars in existence in the Vault, when I was last there.
Another place is Singer Vehicle Designs: https://singervehicledesign.com/
Now they don't provide tours, and so the likely hood of getting in is low. However, I drove out one day some years ago (pre-Covid) and was just standing outside peeking through the open doors (like kid looking through the candy store window).
It must have been a quiet day, because one of the employees came out to chat with me, and he ended up giving me a tour! No photos allowed of course, but the tour was great. By pure random coincidence, I saw them preparing the 100th Singer before being shipped to the customer:

I don't think Canepa had hosted cars and coffee for a couple of years. They do do car club visits occasionally and the museum and showroom is open to the public most weekdays.

Well worth a visit: South Orange County Cars & Coffee. Every Saturday from ~8;30 AM to 11:000 AM
.
"South OC Cars and Coffee is the world’s largest weekly car show, attracting a mix of 1500-3500 plus hypercars, supercars, exotics, vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4x4's and motorcycles. No registration is required, spectators are welcome and we meet every Saturday, rain or shine! We get celebrities, TV show shoots, and manufacturers showcasing new models and prototype vehicles. You’ll never know who or what will show up!

Suggest you check the several PCA region websites to see what they may be doing (Golden Gate, Loma Prieta, Diablo, Redwood). And, of course, while you're in the SF Bay Area, if you care to, we can gather a few Porsche folk for a drive, a meal, or a get- together of some sort.

Do you know if it's possible to visit the Porsche Parade 2023 in Palm Springs without registration?
