Default Registering a 1979 930 Turbo in Portland

I recently purchased a 1979 930 Turbo from Washington State and drove it to Oregon. I'd like to register the car in Portland but in researching, there's an indication of needing to pass emissions control test. I'm unsure exactly what this test entails and wanted to see what issues I'd have in registering this car. Any Portlanders able to confirm whether I can expect any issues in getting plates for the car due to emissions?

I recently transferred title from CA to OR for my 2012 Mini Cooper S which I gave to my youngest daughter. It had to be smogged before title could be transferred & registered.

Just a follow-up that I stopped in at the DEQ today and it passed the check without issues. Thanks!
