Default San Francisco PPI

Any recommendations for a PPI around South Francisco/San Mateo?

Looking at a 911 at a Porsche dealer, has damage history but no reported accidents... not sure how Carfax distinguishes between the two....

If you can get the car a bit further south, try Heyer Performance (Mtn View) or RMG (Sunnyvale). I've used both and they are great.

Not trying to be smart *** here, but would a Porsche dealer be selling an air-cooled car?

To be fair, I recently saw a 993 for sale at Porsche Livermore, so @doublecabmels question is theoretically relevant ... you never know :-)

As an aside, I've noted some dealers try to claim they can't send a car very far for PPI ... only to a radius that conveniently excludes any good known Indys.
If they do that, just be prepared to walk. Not worth buying without a proper PPI unless it's such a smoking deal you can afford to sink a lot into fixing problems.
Don't accept their own inspection - the checklist Porsche dealers use to CPO cars (and I'm assuming this is not even CPO) is pretty weak IMO compared to a real PPI.

I did my 996tt at RealMeanGarage 3 months ago. It was expensive at $550 however very thorough and was able to get the seller to lower price by $2000 on stuff I would not have found on my own.

@Astraelraen : We have a Porsche Gold Meister tech in the SF Bay Area who could travel out to the car for a full PPI. Please let me know if we can help. Thanks!

Hello,
I am a new member and would be interested in your recommendation for ppi in San Francisco. I am considering a purchase there. Thanks!
