Bay Area (Peninsula) Indy Recommendations
Hi everyone, I didn't see any recent threads on this. Can someone provider recommendations for a good Porsche indy on the Peninsula. I'd also be willing to go to the eastbay as long as it doesn't involve the Bay Bridge (e.g. Hayward). I'm in South SF. If they are specifically familiar with the 996, that would be a plus.

I purchased my 996 from Monterey and the previous owner had all the work done by Bay Area Motorworks. They did the IMS/RMS and a bunch of other work on the car I purchased and it has turned out to be a fabulous car. Not sure how convenient but here is their info:

Junipero Serra Porsche and Mercedes in Daly City. That is where I bring my 911 and 997. Look for Jim and he will show you his collections beside his shop

I’m really impressed with these guys in Redwood City.

The have the right tools (Porsche computer), a really nice alignment table, tire machine, and the shop itself is clean and organized.

Thanks, I ended up going to Real Mean Garage in Sunnyvale. Nice guys, honest. As per the usual, they couldn't replicate 2 issues and were able to fix one. They charged me 2 hours labor and we called it day.

I've been working with Tony at Heyer Performance for a few years on a few different cars (981, 991, GT4) and he's the man. Worth checking out.
I've had him do track prep (pads, rotors, oil, brake fluid, tech inspection), Pre Purchase Inspection, out-of-warranty regular maintenance and reversal of questionable modifications (specifically, CAI and headers on the 991).
Knowledgeable, explains the work very well, good prices, very honest and straightforward.
