No they are not mounted on the control arms. Its mounted on a chassis bracket which the bolt go directly into the chassis. We would never mount any tie down loops on a control arm that could potentially tweak the alignment.
This is one of the three 991 Cup cars that are racing in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. We prep and align each car perfectly at the shop and with these tow loops we transported the cars to the races perfectly. :-)
