If you're looking for V8s, then find & read the Variocam cam adjuster bolt failure threads on here & 6speed at the link below to educate yourself, & don't believe that "stalling" is the only issue for Porsche's AH-08 Recall for it, & it's documented on both 2011 & 2012 Cayenne & Panamera V8s & the `11-12 Pana V6.

We're looking for a Tip CayS, so we won't be crossing on the same ones, but I'd warn you even if you were.
Good Luck!

PS - It involves loss of power steering & brakes &/or loss of fuel pump depending on which or both banks cam failure, & the sheared off bolt heads can run thru the engine &/or the valves can hit the pistons causing total engine failure, possibly seizing up at speed, & totaling the car for a $30-35K engine failure. It can & has apparently happened without warning at any time, age or mileage.

I may be wrong, but I think only the past generation GTS - 2008-2009 was available with a 6 speed stick. I've never seen a late model cayenne with anything but the 8 speed auto.

I guess demand was just not there for manual SUVs and I may be crazy in considering this but my winter car (M235i xdrive) is my first automatic in >30yrs of driving and it's just not doing it for me. Handles, goes great in the snow and is as practical as I need but more ground clearance and a stick would be better
Cheers.

I had a 2011 958 manual. Amazing car. Wish I never sold it. Theres a 2012 manual for sale on the PCA Classifieds.

I was one of the lucky ones and found a white MT V6 2011 Cayenne just 2 months ago in New York and a one owner vehicle with all the service intervals done and records. I had to get back to a three pedal since my '86 911 got totaled and I needed an suv. When I asked the person at PCA who writes for the Cayenne group, he said only 36 958.1 models were imported to the USA out of the whole worldwide production of 303,000 vehicles.

here's another:

Its local to me if anyone is interested. I saw it during the CPO process on the lift getting a new clutch.....WIN!! Crazy though that it needed a clutch after 40k mi. Mine had plenty of meat on it when i sold it at 48k mi.

GBX... car looks awesome. As luck would have it, it shows up after I gave up on the MT Cayenne search and got a BMW 335 manual (which I love but it's not as much of a 'winter' car due to clearance issues). Cheers.

had one of those too. I assume yours is an xi? Throw some snow tires on her and she’ll be a beast in the snow. Enjoy it!
