2000 Porsche 996 Former Grand-Am Series Race Car

Incredible history and racing pedigree

Ready to Race

This former Grand Am GS series race car is not your ordinary club racer or track-day car. It has been professionally raced by some of the top IMSA drivers including Andy Lally, Spencer Pumpelly, Ryan Eversley, and Randy Pobst, and has made race appearances at Daytona International Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen, Phoenix International Raceway, Mid-Ohio Raceway, Mont Tremblant, and Homestead Miami Speedway.

The car was built in 2001 by Mike Levitas (winner 24-hours of Daytona) and TPC Racing and first raced professionally in Grand Am GS Series from 2002 to 2003 as the TPC-Ajilon #15 car driven by Mike Levitas, Andy Lally, John Beaver, James Haggerty, Forrest Barber, George Smith, and Terry Borcheller. It was then purchased by Mike Pickett of Race Prep Motorsports and raced professionally in Grand Am GS Series as the RPM #18 car by Mike Pickett, Spencer Pumpelly, Mike Levitas, Randy Pobst, Ryan Eversley, Damien Faulkner, Joe Fox, Craig Stanton, John Beaver, and David Sterenberg. Since being retired from pro racing it has had 3 private owners, is currently raced in NASA GTS3 where its has won or placed in multiple races, and has previously competed in PCA I-Class. A more detailed history is available along with articles, interviews, and official photos from the Grand Am series races and more recent club events.

The car is maintained by Texas Track Works in Fort Worth and lives a pampered lifestyle at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson.

It is ready to race as-is in club sport (e.g., NASA GTS or ST, PCA I) or would make an enviable HPDE car. Comes with 2 sets of wheels (see details below). Can negotiate delivery in Texas and Oklahoma.
