Price Drop!

Here is your chance to own one of the last air cooled Porsche 911's. 1 of 298 sold in the US in 1998. A VERY rare color combination of Ocean Blue Metallic exterior and Cashmere interior with sport seats. It also has the exclusive factory installed aerokit option. It is absolutely jaw dropping.

You may think that 57K miles is a lot on a car. On the contrary, a Porsche is meant to be driven and this car is driving better than ever! With a 20 year old car and lower miles you will find a lot more maintenance is needed to get the car to peak driving performance. Cables, tubing, wires, clips, etc. will dry out and wear out much faster when the car is idle.

The car has new rear tires with less than 100 miles on them. The only changes I have made to the car is replacing the rear bumper with the euro version and really love the smooth lines! The other is changing the exhaust system to the Fabspeed Maxflow (fabspeed.com/porsche-993-carrera-maxflo-performance-exhaust-system/). Adds 14 HP and sounds amazing. Both of these changes do not affect the originality of the car. I also changed out the car stereo to a bluetooth model. I have the original stereo and it is included in the sale.

There are two paint issues that need addressed. I have a quote from a very reputable shop for $1,600 to repair (see photos). Decided to lower the price in lieu of repair. Other than that the car is immaculate inside and out with only a couple small paint blemishes.

All service under my ownership has been done at Motorwerks Racing in Cumming, GA. A great shop with extremely talented Porsche technicians run by Matthew Forte.

Happy to have the PPI done and would encourage it.

I have more photos and happy to share if needed.

When you say 1 of 298 is that for the 4S?

Oops...sorry, 299...

I have yet to find another 1998 C4S with the aero kit in ocean blue metallic. I'm guessing it is out there somewhere but have yet to see one in the 7 years I have owned the car.

Ok, thank you. I have seen that chart. I have a 97 C2S with aero kit that is Glacier white. I would love to find more specific details on how many were made in white and how many of those came with the aero kit. Your car is beautiful. The mileage of yours is similar to mine and what a great color combo! They are outstanding cars!

@cwcsvt - I have tried to find production numbers by color combination but with no luck. Thanks for the props and you are correct, they are outstanding cars! There is no substitute!

Ok Rennlisters, based on current prices out there for 993's, I feel like this price is in the wheel house. See more details on OP. Would appreciate any feedback on appropriate market value...

Since you asked...

To me, new rear bumper screams out-of-pocket collision repair. But that might be just me.

Also, the longer a car sits unsold, the more wary prospective buyers will become. Price it correctly, and get the deal done.

Don't know if you've been following the pricing threads in the 993 section. Market isn't what it used to be.

Sold in a week.
