I'm surprised you guys order C4 for the Bay Area. Does the allotment process require you order these as opposed to a standard 'S' model?

It's only 4 hours away from Tahoe. We've received over 700 inches of snow this year.

That is just how the allocation process works out. Sometimes we trade the 4 and 4s cars to other areas of the country that really want the AWD versions.

All good points. I was just curious if the allotment was for a 991 and then the dealer could pick whether C4 or not.

Try driving one up during a storm, getting through unplowed Sierra Cement with that clearance! Traction isn't the issue. My Tacoma at times was barely getting down the street, and I was pulling out lower clearance SUV's!
