Two-owner Canadian VIN car, purchased from dealer where it was bought new (first owner traded on a Panamera). Vehicle is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Well cared for, well driven (clean over-rev report: 2656 Stage 1; 22 Stage 2, no 3,4,5,6 events). Service up to date and full maintenance and service records from date of acquisition (dealer advised that 1st owner had pre-paid maintenance plan). Approximately 4,000 km on new front pads and rotors, 5,000 km on new RE-11s, two sets of OEM Spyder CL wheels (Black summer set in perfect condition, Silver winter set with mild scrapes on RF and RR wheels). Paint in overall excellent condition, but not flawless (minor stone chips on front of car). Interior is in excellent condition, with minimal bolster wear and only a couple of scuffs on the back of seats. New windshield in 2014, with a half dozen rock chips repaired.

After purchase, I initiated a handful of warranty claims/repairs, but since 2014 the car has been reliable and trouble-free. This has been a 350 day a year DD, and is in superb overall condition for a 55,000 mile/ 89,000 km car.

NOTE: CARFAX and CARPROOF reports show no body work/accidents, however front bumper skin replaced in 2015 (have detailed photos and receipts showing no other damage). All work performed by Porsche Certified Collision Centre. Porsche Canada has a financial interest in this vehicle, which will be discharged before transaction.

You mention driving this car 350 days a year; what about issue related to salt and winter?

There isn't much salt used on the roads here in the winter (unlike some other Canadian cities), and all manner of expensive cars are daily drivers. The car wasn't left out in the elements: it was parked in a heated garage with the temperature maintained at around 40 degrees Fahrenheit, even when it was as cold as -30 F outside.

I'm in the camp that believes Porsches are designed to be driven year round, and the reality is that 85% of the time throughout winter the roads here are clear and dry. No one would think twice about driving a Macan, Cayenne or Panamera year-round...why would a 911 be any different? Aside from a couple of rock chips (filled) in the windshield and a few filled rock chips in the paint on the front clip, there are no additional cosmetic indicators this was a year-round daily driver.

That said, however, anyone wanting a 911 with no blemishes or other evidence the car was actually used as a transportation device should probably look elsewhere.

That is awesome.

I too drive my car as it is meant to be driven. I just moved back to California from Lake Tahoe and we got a serious winter this season. I for one see no problem whatsoever driving a car in cold climates, ice, salt, etc. When I would wash my car it would get a nice spaying on the underneath. However, I think a lot of this whole winter driving thing can be attributed to cars made in a different era. I believe many of the P Cars are of mostly aluminum which does not rust anyways

I think you're right...most of the concern about the effects of winter harkens back to an era when cars were much more prone to rusting. I take extra care in the winter to keep the undercarriage and wheel wells/suspension clean, and there is no significant difference between how my 911 looks on the underside than our Cayman S which isn't winter driven.

I do understand though why folks who live in locations where salt is used liberally - such as Quebec in Canada - would be more relucant to subject a car they truly care about to winter road conditions.
