2006 Radical RS3 (chassis number 0149)
Have had this car for the past year and DE’ed it 5 times. Complete blast to drive, big boy go-cart with 200+ HP, ~1200lbs, and huge downforce. I’ve registered nearly 2Gs in this thing! I moved from a 996TT to a 07GT3, then to the Radical. My lap times dropped quite a bit! I’ve been trailering down from Portland to San Jose Bay Area (Laguna, Sonoma, Thunderhill) and am going to go back to the GT3 for limited local events and want this beast to get utilized.
• High downforce kit
• Twin battery (24V system) so it Always starts right away!
• 1500cc RPE
• 6 speed sequential
• Right hand drive
• Fire extinguisher systems with activation inside and outside
• Spares include: extra set of light weight wheels with slicks, one set pads, one rotor, AFR reader
• Air Jack with wand (awesome for swapping wheels and general maintenance)
• Seat and belts valid until 2018
• InTrax suspension
• Heavy Duty drive-shafts
• Laguna Seca exhaust extension (with SuperTrapp) for reduced DB tracks
• Full maintenance complete this week
o All fluids (oils, brake fluid) and nut/bolted entire car
o New coil, plugs,
o Repacked muffler
o New Michelin Slicks (made for the Radical) only 3 heat cycles
• Brand new Splitter on its way from Radical UK and will get installed before delivery
• Times: Sonoma 1:46, Thill 5-ml 3:12, Laguna 1:40 (had to creep up 5-6 before exhaust mods)
• Added front LEDs Rigid Industries for better visibility
• Also have ~12 foot Race Ramps that can be included- essential for this low car!
• Wired for Intercom system
• Turnkey ready to DE/Race right now

Ugh. I shouldn't even be looking at a radical, but do you have any idea on the hours of the motor and trans? Have they been rebuilt before? Does the car have the floating rotor option? What brand calipers?

Thanks!

A Radical or car like it is one of those things you just have to try- very addicting and demanding of the driver. NO traction or brake support, it's all driver. It's pretty forgiving and tells you thresholds quite well.

Brakes are standard with Radical calipers. Still plenty of meat on pads and rotors. It's quick, but not stupid fast, so becomes more of a momentum car especially with how much corner speed you can carry.

I bought the car with 32 hours from previous owner then put another ~8 or so. So she's at around 40hrs and still dyno'ing strong numbers. Plenty of Hyabusa rebuilders out there as well when it does get to time.

Nice looking 2002 by the way!

GLWS! The lines of the Radical always remind me of the McLaren GT6

Is this a 1.3 or 1.5 car? How many hours on the trans and engine? What brake package, does it have hot weather cooling pack? Any offs/collision previously?

Thanks for interest-
This is a 1.5L car WITH hot weather package. Fans that can be switched on/off. Also note this has the dry-sump system. No crashes that I know of or can see, but this has seen an off in my ownership that needed a new splitter. Full nut-bolt and flyids after every other event. This is a drivers car that zero nannies. Incredible time- I'll upload a Dyno run and lap at Sonoma once in my computer.

Nice. GLWS.
After Spec Miata and SRF , I think these cars are the best bang-for-the-buck race car out there.

Cheers.

Part of the recent nut-bolt we replaced all of the oil lines then run up the car temp/pressure to check for leaks.

Ride along with me- lap with me at Sonoma Raceway

Also a few pics from previous owner.

Engine bay cleaned up since these pictures with wrapping of headers and fuel line repositioning. Also replaced all oil lines.
