The car originally came from California where one of the owners added a handful of Dinan parts (intake, exhaust, shifter, pedals, swaybars, springs and shocks, and stage 2 tune). The exhaust, springs/shocks have since been removed and replaced with Fortune auto 500 coilovers and SCZA muffler.
Since I have had the car I replaced the c-pillars with new OEM, F10 illuminated shift **** and leather boot, replaced the headlight lenses with new OEM w/ new gaskets, added LED angel eyes, new OEM foglight trim, AA headers, Borla section 1 and 2, and SCZA section 3 with titanium tips. I also added a knockoff CSL rear diffuser painted Imola with CF exposed around the tips.
The only reason I am selling the car is to purchase a 997 GT3. I have been madly in love with BMWs for 10+ years but want to try my hand in Porsche. This E46 M3 has been a dream to own and I will miss it, but hopefully not too much if I have a GT3 sitting in its place.
The bad: I can tell the front and rear bumpers have been repainted (my guess is due to rock chips, no accidents). There are a couple rock chips here and there as to be expected with 100k miles. Also, there is a scrape on the rear bumper.
Also to note: The rear subframe has been addressed with Turner plates welded in. The VANOS unit was serviced and in good health. The car had a nice service right before I purchased it including:
At 101,302 miles the following services were performed totaling $1,359.63:
- Valve Cover Gaskets Replaced
- Belt Drive Pully & Tensioner
- Serpentine Drive Belt
- Main Belt Tensioner Pully
- A/C Belt Tensioner
At 94,533 miles following services were performed totaling $5,343.14:
- Valve Adjustment
- Spark Plugs
- Manual Transmission Fluid
- Differential Fluid
- Power Steering Pump & Hoses
- Water Pump
- Thermostat
The car comes with a nice stack of receipts from the previous owners, including the BBS RGRs added by EAG.

Thanks guys! Have 3 people coming to see the car between today and Sunday so hopefully I can have this car sold by the weekend. I will update accordingly.

The car was tuned with a Dinan Stage 2 tune before the headers were installed. The tune does eliminate the post-cat o2 sensors though so there is no CEL issue.
If I was keeping the car I would head down to TTFS and have the car custom dyno tuned to really take full advantage of the headers and other modifications. But with that said, the car runs and pulls very strong with the Dinan tune as it sits.
