You cannot go to your grave without owning a GT2! Downside: good plastic surgeon required to remove smile lines and floppy facial skin associated with over-exposure to excessive G forces - otherwise, all upside.

The 997GT2 may be the perfect GT car minus its soundtrack. If you want it to sound good, put in a nice stereo :-). Outside that, it's a truly insane and rare car.

 

Yeah. I've been searching. I mean, the F40 is turbo. And the F40 sounds, well, like an F40. So it's possible to make an FI engine sound better. But perhaps I'll just have to live with the GT2 as is, which is not so bad.

 

If you wait you will probably get more for it, there's no end of the upswing in sight.

As for "sound" the only people who care about that are the ones who don't own it, right?
