Equipped with a VF Engineering Supercharger Kit, an intercooled Eaton TVS2300 roots supercharged takes the power to an impressive 750hp & 590ft-lbs of torque.
This kit is rated at 200hp and 200ft-lbs of torque higher than the factories quoted power figures, and offers instant power and torque with 5psi of boost by 1500rpm and 6.5psi at redline. Motor Trend tested this potent Supercharger takes the factories specified 3.9 second 0-60 down to 3.1 seconds. The engine surround panels have been upgraded to carbon fiber finish which complement the supercharger and offer a great view of the power plant through the glass deck lid panel.
To help keep such a high horsepower car out of trouble with the local authorities on spirited drives, an Escort 9500 CSI radar detector with Front Laser Diffusing was installed. This radar detector was coupled with a custom information center module allowing the radars warnings and functions to be viewed through the vehicles factory display. A factory installed Audi music interface allows the driver to attach his Apple device to the factory navigation panel.
Original MSRP on this R8 was $165,850.00 and the car has an additional $38,000 in receipts for the supercharger kit and additional aftermarket upgrades at Titan Motorsports in Orlando, FL.
