Purchasing a GT4 so I'm selling my beloved Cayman R. I am the 2nd owner and bought this car with just under 25K miles on it from a Porsche dealer. It has the Porsche Certified Preowned warranty for 100K miles or until June of 2017. I have upgraded the brakes, suspension and the interior. The motor and drivetrain remain completely stock. The original MSRP was just over $80K (see options on build sheet)

The following upgrades have been added:

By Monterey Porsche:
Porsche Sport Exhaust (the true R version from Germany)
GT3 Master Cylinder & stainless brake lines

By BRRacing:
GMG Harness Bar / Schroth 5 pt harness
RSS front LCAs and rear toelinks
JRZ RS1 dampeners with custom spring rates designed for the Cayman R.
Tarret GT series front/rear swaybars and droplinks

Brakes:
Girodisk front / rear hats & rotors at 80+%
PFC08 Pads @ 70+%
Motul 660 brake fluid

Interior carbon fiber:
Steering wheel by DCT
PDK shifter/trim, sport Crono by MaCarbon

Tires are Michelin Pilot sport with 5K miles on them.

All maintenance up to date with all receipts from my period of ownership.

Interested parties please PM me and I will get you my ph# and email.

Excellent setup. Do you have the stock parts that originally came with the car?

Very nice!

I see a lot more Boxster Spyder with the buckets than Cayman R, nice color and specs!

He has all the original parts that come with it. I'm trying to get a GT4 or I would buy it.

Thinking out loud here....

In 1989, you could have bought a 911 Speedster for about $62k. They made 2000 of them. A nice example now sells for.... $200k?

Here we are in 2016, and you can buy a Cayman R for $68k. They made 624 of them. A nice example in 2042 will sell for.... $300k?

(full disclosure, as an owner of a CR, I fully support their value increasing in a dramatic way )

As a Cayman R owner, I like the way you think
