My CPO base with 37k miles in pristine condition was purchased for low $40s. Sans CPO or higher mileage I would think could be found. Either way, at $39, I'm betting that most buyers would pay a little more and get a .2, at least I did.
I'm sure there is the right buyer out there though looking for a good condition .1 that is willing to pay that, I'm just offering an explanation as to why there may not be any "bites".

Do hang in there, I've had amazingly good luck with auto trader, selling cars. You could try eBay even if its just for the ad, (it really gets it out there!) then do the deal in person. In fact That's how I just bought my 08 Cobalt blue Cayman S turbo. 14k miles... paid exactly what your asking. GLWS

Yup, it's a nice one too. But we're still talking about like 5-6 cars that are under 45k. Of that number, 2 are not sketchy... the cpo'd one and the one on the forums. That ain't many out of all the '09's that are for sale. Point is, 997.2 pricing isn't that low yet cept for the outliers. Ask is about 50k right now.

Definitely hear you, I'd say the typical ask is 5-10K higher for a .2 vs. .1, which is where I'd assume it would be; however, it seems the the veil on the low end of pricing has been pierced on the .2's whereas most .1 owners still seem to be commanding good prices on theirs. I think the OP's is a good example; seems fairly priced to the broader market, but personally, would I get one 3 years younger, with an fantastic redesigned engine that puts out more power and more MPGs for a 5-10% price increase? Fo sho. But the market speaks and I only make observations

Now 997.2 S vs 997.1 S is a different matter altogether.
That being said, let's let this for sale ad go back to being a for sale ad

I would totally pull the trigger on this! Probably moving to Phx. so can't do anything for about 3 more months If you still have it, I'm sorry it didn't sell for you but it'll be in my drive way........lucky me!

I swear if this was on BAT it would be sold at 45 by now.
I've never seen this color before in person but it comes off as a bit purple in the pics. Prob plays bit better in Socal/Miami than NYC
