Mechanically speaking, this is probably the best high mileage first gen Boxster in Texas. Over the past 4 years of ownership all major and minor issues have been addressed. Complete engine rebuild at 145k miles, new main and rod bearings, LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, new variocam pads & actuators, valve job, fresh piston rings, spark plugs & tubes, Boxster S oil cooler upgrade, water pump, serpentine belt, new AC compressor, starter, front struts, engine mount, transmission mounts, vacuum system, lower control arms, new wind shield, new soft top and window regulators. Recent oil & filter change. Good for 6-8k miles.

Front bumper cover replaced with (resprayed) Boxster S nose cone.

This would be a good candidate for a Spec Boxster race car conversion, but the interior is really too nice for it to be gutted...
