I've owned this car since August 2012. I absolutely love it, but the time has come to let it go.
The car runs and drives great, very tight and responsive. Stunning in person, this car gets compliments every time I take it out. I have records dating back to 07/01 and 96k miles. I have addressed the typical 964 issues and tuned out a little of the "softness" associated with these cars. I think this car is the perfect mix of the raw, classic 911 feel but with just enough refinement to keep you happy day-to-day or on longer drives.

Exterior - Mostly original Black paint which still shines, but there is wear which reflects the mileage (chips, etc), and flaking clear on some panels.

Mechanicals - Runs, shifts, rides and stops great. Recent valve job and engine reseal. Leaks a little oil from the oil return tubes. 2 drops after a long drive.

Interior - Seats appear to have been reupholstered, and are in excellent condition. Carpet shows it's age, despite that it shows well. Dash has cracks over gauge cluster but otherwise in excellent shape. Car has aftermarket head unit, but I have the working original, rare Blaupunkt Stuttgart which will be included in the sale.

Options include:
09991 Manufacture from the exclusive-programme
158 Radio "Monterey" - 86 "Reno" - 87 (incorrect, this code should show "Stuttgart" which I have, not installed)
437 Comfort seat left
454 Automatic speed control
494 2 speakers on back shelf
494 Amplifier system
650 Sunroof
C02 Equipped with catalytic converter
XD4 Porsche Crest Rim Caps

Service/new parts during my ownership:
- Engine reseal - Replaced all the o-rings and gaskets that usually leak in these cars. Also replaced crossover oil pipe. For reference: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...es-thread.html
- Tossed the disintegrating sound pad
- Power steering pump rebuilt
- New belts, dist. caps, rotors
- Rennline engine mount reinforcement
- WEVO blue engine mounts
- Primary muffler delete
- Witchhunter injector rebuild and dyno
- RS single-belt pulley
- H&R coilovers
- Kinesis K57 wheels - 17x8.5, 17x10 on Bridgestone Potenza tires - Plenty of life left & 2014 date code
- Brad Penn oil and Redline gear oil
- Got the AC working, soldered a new resistor in the upgraded 993 CCU to fix a battery drain. Works great!

I have the toolkit, compressor, spare wheel, and owners manual. I also have a factory suspension, dual-belt pulley, and muffler. If the buyer prefers a stock car I can reinstall everything.

After having owned and driven a bunch of vintage Porsches, there really is something special about the 964. I feel it's the perfect balance of new and old, and I think values have only begun to take off. This one in particular is worn in like your favorite pair of sneakers, and I hope I can find a buyer that appreciates the originality and feel the car has VS. somebody that wants a "perfect" one. They're only original once.

Thanks, Fred. She will be missed.
