Don't make fun of me...but how would this work(logistics wise) for a US buyer?

Brought several cards from the US and the process was simple. Used the same Broker who arranged a transportation company. Paperwork is the necessary and pertinent evil but is done for a minimal fee. Process is identical in reverse. Below are several websites to walk you though the procedure. Seems like a lot to process but is less complicated than one thinks.

Or, make it super easy on yourself. Work out a deal, then hire a transport company that can also clear the car through customs. You won't have to deal with any of the hassle of getting the car into the US.

True; BUT, the golden question is how much does all of that cost?

Total wild half educated **** guess of mine would be ~2 but less than 3% of that asking price.
Now if I can get the seller to knock off 1% for a quick deal from a motivated buyer can we set this deal up AM mannana? Ill even help you detail it as soon as it's delivered. That sounds fair enough doesn't it?

I recently brought in a 4.0RS and it was super painless. only issue for me was that the car needed to be transported from dealer to the border and then another company transported it from border to me in california. the 2.5% duty tax is WAY less then paying full price in USD right now because of the great exchange rate.

As the subject of imping a car from Canada has now come up several times in the past few months, can someone please provide some actual names of transport companies and brokers instead of anecdotal comments on past experiences?
