Hey guys, management was going to send this car to auction because of the story below but I thought someone in this community would jump at the opportunity to take advantage of the engine upgrade and turn this thing into a track weapon.

This car suffered and engine failure at 48k miles and the PO decided to replace it at his expense. At the time there were no engines available except to upgrade to the X51. This was a $50k expense to the PO.
The car came into our shop with 48,459 miles and left with a new engine at 48,633. The car currently has 53,945 miles on the odometer which puts this engine as having 5,312 miles.
This car is in great condition and runs strong with no accidents or paintwork.
We have serviced this car here at our shop since 2009 so we have everything documented.
We are offering up at $39,997 for a quick sale which is auction wholesale.

Please feel free to PM, call, text or email with any inquiries..

FYI, please excuse the photos as it is raining here in Houston and the car was not detailed
before the shoot. Some of the pics show dark marks and that is just dirt on the White paint.

Why do you say "track weapon"? Wouldn't this make a great daily driver? Or fun weekend car? What am I missing?

Man that's a painful bill to foot especially to sell the car a year later, surprised no goodwill from Porsche on the repairs on a car that was dealer serviced from the beginning. Anyway I digress, GLWS!

Hey, they "test drove" the new motor 174 miles after installation so it must be pretty impressive

Did the X51 upgrade not include the sport exhaust? From pictures it looks like standard exhaust based on the exhaust tips.

When I ordered a factory X51 kit for my car, it was available with or without the Porsche Sport Exhaust. I passed as I already had a new Agency Power unit waiting to be installed. So, it's possible.

Default guess

sure he will let us know but doubt an rms ims like issue or bet Porsche would have helped cover the $.... bet it was a money shift and he grenaded the original motor.

anyone else want to take a guess?

anyone think Fidelity or other reputable company would warranty this car if bought?

Does it have original DME or did X51 upgrade provide new one? If original, is there a report we can see with documented hours of new engine install?
