For your perusal is this '02 C4S in Seal Grey. I have owned it for just shy of two years and have had an absolute blast with it! Purchased in October 2013 with 29k miles and it has just over 43k miles now. Comes with two keys and all manuals, including the maintenance manual which all service intervals were stamped by the dealer. This is my third 911, with the previous two being 993's. The evolution, to me, was undeniable...it's an incredible machine. The reason for selling is simple...actually, I have two. First and foremost, I NEED MORE SPACE. My 6 and 9 years old kids just don't fit that well anymore in the back!! I'm looking at Cayenne's now. Secondly, as I always seem to do, I buy a car, spend money to make it BETTER, and then sell it...no exception here!
OPTION LIST:
139 SEAT HEAT, LEFT
288 HEADLAMP WASHER
340 SEAT HEAT, RIGHT
375 SPORT SEATS
424 CD COMPARTMENT
539 POWER SEATS, LEFT
540 POWER SEATS, RIGHT
601 LITRONIC (XENON) HEADLIGHTS
680 BOSE SOUND SYSTEM
692 CD CHANGER
696 BECKER CDR220
GENERAL CONDITION:
The car was taken to Hilton Head Porsche at 40,018 miles for the 40,000 mile service earlier this year. While in there, I replaced the Rear Main Seal, installed an LN IMS Bearing, and also a new clutch. Additionally, they replaced the spark plugs as well. In mid-June, New Bridgestone Potenzas on all four corners were installed. I have all maintenance records since I purchased the car. Only other non-scheduled items were an ignition switch and I replaced both front wheel bearings.
The car has been lowered on H&R Sport springs and the difference from stock in both handling and looks is...awesome! I have the original springs if the buyer would like them. Allllll windows have 3M window tint on them, including the windshield. Because its 3M tint, if you ever have a problem with it, you can take it to any 3M tinter and they will cover the repair.
Interior is a solid 9/10. Less than normal wear on drivers side bolster. Could use a new drivers side floor mat, but otherwise, the interior is extremely clean. Seats are treated twice monthly with Griot's Garage leather care. All components work in the cockpit!! Alcantera headliner is pristine.
Exterior...well, Im thinking the pictures speak quite clearly. The car gets clay bar, polish and wax treatment every six months...its due right about now. Wheels aren't perfect, but they are about a 7.5/10...and I may be being harsh there. Will provide additional pics if you'd like.
Bottom Line...this is a turn-key automobile with everything done to it that SHOULD be done to it. Price is commensurate with mileage, condition, and upgrades. Excellence Magazine lists a 996 in Excellent condition at $33k. This car fits that description. Car is located near Hilton Head, SC. I purchased a CarFax and will email it to you if you are interested.
