If the OP's car is showroom "perfect" as represented, then IMHO is correctly priced given the body style, condition, mileage, options, color and market conditions. I would not characterize a collector as a "nut" to buy this car if all of the above is true; just the opposite. A shrewd forward thinking "investor" that is willing to gamble a bit that the appreciation curve for this example has not flattened out. No different than when other examples such as speedsters, early "s" cars, RS types, etc. seemed to have peaked price wise, only to continuously appreciate ahead of the market as as whole.

U7t2p7 -- totally agree with you. 98 C2s is money in the bank if kept long enough. This car will sell for this price or close to it in the near term -- and will go up in value, guaranteed. 98 C2s's are getting rarer and rarer to find on the market. Just cus we can't afford it, doesn't mean someone else can't too.

this isn't the first low mile six figure C2S to be FS...it is however the first low mile Metallic Black, Chestnut, HB Sport Seat C2S FS.
As crazy as the market is now, this is a truely spectacular and rare color combo...it'll bring that kinda price. I'm imaging alu bezels, alu sills, alu shifter/e brake handle too.
Hope the OP finds a way to post some inside/outside pics.
