This looks like a nice sorted car at a fair price. Must be off season for buying? There are always folks on the 993 board saying they wish a clean sorted 993 would show up and this car has a nice hard to find color combo. I love the interior in that brick red, terracotta color with black. In fact I'd love to find that interior period to put in my car.
This is a nice looking car and it'll be one of those threads that everyone will bump in the spring asking if it's "available". "no you missed it"
Good luck. Nice car!

Harold -
Thanks so much for the comments - you're spot on! I have been told that the Porsche market is on hold, with the gov't shutdown being the only explanation... apparently, everyone is clutching their wallets. I guess I'm the fool or the exception or something because I don't buy or sell cars on the basis of what a financial planner tells me. I'm stunned that the car is still available, especially at the price, as nothing like it was available when I was looking in the spring.

Pretty straightforward, actually: I've wanted a 993 since I sold them new. When I couldn't find a decent C4, a couple of friends told me I'd be a lot happier with the rear drive. Then, in August, the imminent reality of another Vermont winter struck me and I don't want to park my car for 7 of 12 months. This one is far too nice to expose to salt, which will still work its magic, even on dry days, so I've bought myself another 964 C4.
