Maybe you should read the entire thread before making any assumptions.
This car is rock solid, super fast and well set up. I personally inspected it in Florida. Drove it and leak down tested it.
Bought it from Eduardo Baptista who identified himself as the legal owner of the car. I came all the way from Amsterdam to inspect the car and when inspection was done, i paid the car in full for the total amount of 55,000 US$. Then my nightmare started: Eduardo Baptista failed to hand me the title. More then 6 months passed where Eduardo Baptista kept promising it would come. It turned out he was not the owner but it was owned by a leasing company he failed to pay off. I have spend thereafter more then 20,000$ on lawyer fee's to file suit against Eduardo Baptista and this case is still going on as we speak. Anybody who knows about litigation, knows this is extremely frustrating, costly and time consuming. Whoever is being suit, can drain this process forever and ever.
To make the nightmare a bit shorter: I lost 55,000 + 20,000 already and did not see a way out. Then we decided to approach the leasing company and made a deal with them to get the title of the car. The leasing company wanted to get paid what they were owed and that came down to almost buying it again.
So i hold the title by now and the title issue is legally completely solved. My lawyer took care of that. Leasing company is a Rennlist member and will be able to confirm all this.
In the mean time i also bought a 964 Cup from a fellow Rennlister and after having spend all that money i figured the best way to cover my losses would be to sell the RSA again. As you maybe know, the prices of the RSA are rising and i knew this from day one. Having bought it initially for 55 would have been a good deal.
Having now spend more then 120,000 on the car + a lot of time and travel expenses, i offered it for 100,000. The car did not fly away so i steadily lowered the price till we now reach 75,000
As this car has a bit of a history with it, and most people know this already, i did not want to hide it from Rennlist. This is where the car was offered and where i bought it. Eduardo Baptista is banned for life from RL due to his misbehaving towards me and many other members.
If you are interested in the car i can send you 30 more pictures i took when i inspected the car in Miami.
I can send you all the leak down results and even send you some video's when the car was driven by Nigel Green in Daytona.
It was the first road legal car i ever bought outside the EU and i made a stupid mistake not to ask for the title before paying. Very silly indeed and i paid a lot of learning money for that. I am now trying to cover my losses
Nothing more, nothing less.
Here a video i shot when i just bought the car. In the background you can see Eduardo Baptista.
Whoever is interested in the car, is having a great deal here
