This 1999 911 (996) has been completely gone through front to back. It was purchased at 60,661 miles with an intermix engine failure. A used engine was acquired with 43k and the LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade was done prior to engine going in the car. As part of the transplant, the car received a new clutch kit, an LN 160 degree thermostat, a new AOS, new plugs, battery and fresh Redline transmission fluid. All coolant hoses (rubber and metal) were replaced new and the revised coolant cap replaced the original. The front rads were flushed professionally. All work was performed at a Porsche Specialty race shop in Rochester, NY.

The car is in excellent condition overall. It has a 6 speed gearbox, sunroof, cruise control, intermittent wipers, am/fm with tape player, 17” wheels and new this season Bridgestone Pole Position tires. Windows have a dark tint. The Arctic Silver Metallic paint (92U) has a pearl effect and looks great with the black leather interior. The option codes listed include:
139 + 340 - heater seats
220 – Locking differential
222 – Traction control
224 – Active brake differential
288 – Headlight washer
425 – Rear wiper
490 – Sound package
659 – Onboard computer
692 – Remote CD changer

Additionally, the car has new rotors and brake pads (Cool Carbon) and has had a brake fluid flush with Motul 600 brake fluid. The A/C blows very cold. Paint is near perfect with no chips or scratches. Interior is very good; an 8.5 in my opinion. There is a factory car cover that comes with the car. The car needs nothing but a new home. All work was done this year and about 1000 miles have been put on the car since its return to the road. Current mileage is 61,600.
Asking price is $24,499.00 for a worry-free car ready to go anywhere. PPI’s welcomed.

Update: I am the 3rd owner. PO had the car 7 years but had no records to turn over. He bought the car as a CPO car from the dealer. He did not extend the warranty when it expired. He indicated that all service was done at the Porsche dealer in Buffalo.
Engine was acquired from Engine and Transmission World (EATW.com) with a documented 43K on the engine. There was a 3 yr warranty provided with the engine (to me) but it is not transferable. Only reason I mention it is that it gives an indication of the condition of the engine, and hopefully a comfort level for the buyer. All paperwork for the engine, and service work I had done to make the car right is included.

Monday bump.

Would also consider '02-'03 Boxster S plus cash.
