it's always something to deflower the virgins.
I prefer low mileage cars soo I can put a lot of miles on it. but u know that, I am weird.
When my name is mentioned (without anyone swearing even!), I magically reappear.
Eric is right - in fact, this 4.0 came out of my collection once upon a time. Superb spec and truly as new when it left me and no reason to believe it is otherwise today.
I’ve only sort of moved on. Still very active in the Porsche world, but not collecting as much of what flows through the RL river as I once did. But still keeping an eye on things here and always enjoy the great posts and knowledge I glean.
Happy holidays all.
GLWS, such a great car.

After fending off few lowball offers and listening to some people telling me how stupid I am to part with this car and PTS 911R I decided to keep both cars and actually enjoy driving them. So no longer for sale. Both cars are staying in my garage. Thank you all for wonderful comments.

Congrats! Probably the correct choice in long run

Thank you. A shame to have this just sit and then move to the next collection to never be driven again. Please drive the wheels off of it and post pics of it in the wild. That is the correct choice. Screw all these beautiful cars just being art. They were made to be driven.
Cheers and Happy New Year.

Smart choice wolf. I know of what you speak
you would just end up buying it back anyways.

Idk, I'd be tempted to preserve this one and buy one with 10-15kmi, in good condition, to drive the wheels off; just me. Although anytime I've done that, i just end up keeping the high-miler and selling the delivery mile example. ONLY delivery mile cars I own are that way temporarily when they get delivered new. I've always sold every "collector" low-mileage car eventually.
But a delivery mile, like-new, 4.0 is a special car.
U can't go wrong. U need a 4.0 in the stable, whether this one or another. Did you have a black 4.0 at one time? Seems like I remember u posting tracking a black 4.0 a while back?

good idea to keep it,
many ppl get bent out of shape have Low mile car high mile car..
everyone is different.
for ME, I am more insane than most. I like low low mile car so I can deflower her myself and pile on the miles.
CGT with 2k miles and low 5k in 6 months
I got my 4.0 new 16k miles now. I did think about buying ur 4.0 (before you bought it) if I sold mine then I can have a new virgin to deflower your know.
I just don't have the wallet
I would not go buy a high miler b/c I want to DRIVE
or buy a low miler b/c I want to keep it.
I don't buy rotten apples to eat and keep the good one in the fridge. just drive it.
you only live once.
