Well, I already have one with slightly higher mileage and paid a slightly higher price! This is a GREAT Xmas present at the right price for someone!

My car didn't sell on BAT for 153. I still have it, and I would not consider that a strong data point. BAT has proven they do not have the buyers for the .1 or .2 RS cars. But the market is softer than it has been.

I agree that 153k is low, but I don't think the number is above 175k either. I bought mine 3 months ago with 10k miles and ended up around 175k all in with pinning and a few fixes. What I don't understand is the PTS ones that guys want $225-250k for. For paint?!

IMO - Porsche is making a TON of new cars ( GT3, GT3RS, etc ) I think in the long run the 997.1 and 997.2 will all be big money. Just look at the 993 c2, c2s and turbo cars, that bubble "sank" and now they are all back up at least 15% maybe more. My car has mods and I get that for some buyers they want a dead stock car, but for the OP I think his car is worth 180-185 to the right buyer especially since it's bone stock and has all the right options. PTS cars will always have a higher price point, they just made less of them and typically the high level Porsche collector is willing to pay a premium for special paint or cxx options. At the end of the day it's all about how you enjoy cars, I like to drive mine and have a few so I don't rack up many miles on any of them. I put 22k miles on my 14 turbo S, I would've driven my 10RS a lot more but living in Los Angeles and driving a stick any day other than Sunday is just asking for a sore left leg. I think you paid fair money for your car but there is a difference in long term value with single digit mileage.

Barely broken in. These are half-million dollar cars I think over the next 25 years. Of course, I'm biased.

Not a great ROI if that's why someone is buying the car.

Now, if you're gonna track the crap out of it...............
