I bought a nearly identical '98 several months ago. I've had two 896s, and I think the 2.5 has plenty of power. This car is about balance and handling. I think you have priced it fairly and I, too, am surprised it hasn't sold. If yours was on the market when I was looking I probably would have bought it instead.

Well thank you again for the complements. Deposit received as of today, so it looks like we have a winner.

A super PCA member will be the happy new caretaker soon.

Congrats...my 17yo daughter has been “fantasy” shopping so to speak for her second car. She has latched onto the early Boxster, and surprisingly agrees with my love for the classic silver/red interior bits, combo. There is another Boxster beauty, similar lovingly cared for history, and color combo, at a dealership in Co.

At this time, with both winter, and college coming soon...her first Porsche will probably have to wait. Beyond excited that the passion she exhibited around cars when she was younger, is coming thru again.

Congratulations to both buyer, and seller.
