Ladies and gentelmen, here it is!!!

As we all know:

TTS = Golf R
GT3 = Golf S
C2S = Base

The GTI in its Sport trim aka VW 911R, which is the one I am offering to you, is the perfect balance of lightweight and heritage, it is the connoisseur's GTI, it is the only GTI.

Why?

Because it has everything one needs and shuns all that is superfluous, even more so than the 911R, so in a way it is better than the 911R.
You get THE performance package, a DCT to rival, nay demolish the PDK with its legendary creep powers, xenons (fancy word for millennial headlights), you get apple car play, you get unriced trim specific wheels, and you know what else you get? You get PLAID!!!
Forget pepita, forget houndstooth, those are soooooo plaid out? (see what I did there?)
Dudes dig plaid.
Ladies dig plaid.
Gender fluids dig plaid sometimes.

Behold the Autoblog oracle that unequivocally states: "It's the perfect GTI" https://www.autoblog.com/2017/06/30/...#slide-6793510

This particular 2017 example has but 8900 perfectly executed miles and is better than new. I can say that with certainty because I know that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. And this car has gone to battle with the rear bumper of a firetruck and lost. It has been fixed better than new and as a result is now stronger, at least in character. (it was a very light impact at about 3mph when the truck bumper attacked me, and it has been fixed correctly, and I have all receipts).

The car is really in excellent condition inside and out, it's also had two layers of ceramic coating, and super cool tint to hide you from all the attention you'll get whilst driving it. And if you thrive in attention, with a simple push of a switch, the power window will lower to reveal your splendor to the world.

Need a car when 911 mile anxiety has you crying in the corner? This car is for you!
Need a car for college and want to slot in the sweet spot of coolness residing between sideways bill guy with STI and M4 spoiled brat? This car is for you!
Love torque steer? This car is for you!
Need a practical and attractive car at a discounted price because of its colorful history that's a sweet daily driver that's slightly fast? This car is for you!

Pictures are attached for your perusal and sexual thrill including the less sexy carfax report.

There's some wiggle room in the price should I deem you worthy, OR, if you ask nicely.

I've been a VW guy since 1975 and we bought a Night Blue metallic GTi Sport for my wife this past fall . It's an amazing package with the R brakes , power pack engine , xenons , special wheels - and best of all - NO sunroof ! The sunroof on the Mk 7 Golf has been the source of endless headaches . We have a manual version ( all my wife will drive ) and I can't say enough good things about it . Audi build quality and ride and fun to drive . Makes my 06' feel like it's tied to a tree . It is a nice low key car and we've learned the kids love them . Same kids who wouldn't give a second glance to our 911's . Nice car and a good price - it will make somebody happy - even though it's not a manual !

Bought a 2016 VW Golf R (manual) for my son's graduation. He loves it. Great in snow and fun as heck. Good luck.

Ok so I didn’t want to mention this in the opening post for fear of creating so much excitement that someone gets hurt.
The keen eyed of you might have spotted this in the pictures and wondered if you were dreaming.

Did you know we have seasons?
It’s true!
I looked it up on the mighty wikipedia and she tells me that there are in fact four of them … for now.
Let me ask you this … are you adequately prepared for all four? Is your car carpet?
Well don’t panic and brace yourselves, because this vehicle has oem ALL season accessory floor mats!!!
For those of you waking up from the fainting, I repeat, these are ALL season floor mats.
Now think about this for a second, these are not mono-seasonal floor mats, they are not bi-seasonal either, tri-seasonal would be something to behold, and quad-seasonal floor mats would be too sweet to contemplate right?
But ALL season?
That means when the pointdexters at the university decide to add more seasons, as they are due to do, you will still be covered.
They could add ten of them or even hundreds, and all that new weather, and you’re still golden, and more importantly, your GTI floors will be metaphorically golden.
And if they were really golden, you know because of golden shower monsoon season, it would wash right off.
All the meanwhile all those other poor bastards who currently thrive in their short sighted four season floorrmat smugness, will be falling woefully short of seasonal coverage … they will envy the dead, and more importantly, you.
How crazy is that?
And, AND, they are included at no extra cost, WITH LOGO!!!
Season ad infinitum carpet coverage, GTI tribe identification branded right into them … what a time to be alive.
And apparently the tires are all season too!

I think the comparison between this car and the 911R is like comparing a firecracker to a modern day nuclear weapon!
