This was actually extremely high for a car without single mass flywheel...

I hear some/many 911R builds were unable to specified with the SMFW for some odd reason. Any truth to this?
This last one that sold on BaT looks like a finely spec'd car, and seems like a good deal for $280k, even without SMFW.
But what are these!? LOL

OC taste at it's best. Surprised it didn't have chrome rims.

Hammer less 10-12% or similar amount as negotiated in the consignment agreement. Specific language for buyers premium below for reference:

Close as ever to buying a 911R. Found spec near and dear to my heart, at a price that's not unreasonable. Problem is I'm overly fussy because it's ****load of money for me to spend on a car, so part of me feels like I should hold out for a more perfect match. If anyone has any fresh leads, on a car that's not publicly listed, please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

^^^I will drive this car, not a showpiece. I don't invest in cars. For me, cars are a luxury. A hobby. A money pit. Sell it if I don't enjoy it or enjoy another car more, notwithstanding market prices.
Great points, btw.

The market will stop declining after the vast majority of 911Rs are in the hands of either non-VIP enthusiasts or VIP enthusiasts. Feel like this exchange is only just beginning to occur in earnest. But it will likely conclude rapidly.
