Merit Partners is pleased to offer this exceptional and very well sorted 2012 Cayman R race car. Purchased new, the original owner converted the street car over to a purpose-built track car about mid-way through its current mileage. The owner spared no expense with a variety of shops providing expertise on the building of the car. Robinson Racing installed the custom fabricated and laser measured roll cage. GMP Performance did the seat swap, upholstery work and fire suppression. Autometrics did suspension, mechanical and software upgrades. TPC Racing with Jim Burton (Master tech at Hendrick Porsche and past crew chief for 24 hr. Rolex win) also assisted with suspension and aero setup. Finally, Mike Colucci, who was a highly renowned mechanic for Brumos Porsche race team, did aero and setup work with Jim Burton for the wing along with special fabrication and wind tunnel testing to optimize it for the car.

The car has never been wrecked or had paintwork beyond the respraying of the bumpers. A new PDK transmission was put in the car around 10k miles and the car was never raced but only ran in DE events. The car is exceptionally fast, easy to drive and looks just as good sitting in the pits as it does on the track. Every record in meticulous detail is included with the car and it has been maintained at the highest level. The car includes window sticker from when the car was new along with both sets of keys.
