1994 Widebody C4 (1 of approximately 265). Schwarz Black/ Black. Another preview of 3 911s I am selling this spring. I bought this car from the original owner in Cleveland, Ohio approximately 4 years ago. The original owner drove the car year-round to the tune of 133,000 miles. The good news was, he had meticulous servicing done at Fred Baker Porsche (now Penske Porsche in Beachwood) with a few service done a Steinel's (a top 911 shop). The bad news was that was used year round and the windshield, paint etc. were very chipped up. I spent 2 years and approximately $35,000 to restore this car to its former glory. First, Protosport did a full engine tune up, new clutch, replaced the front sub-frame (as there was rust), brand new steering system (waited for nearly a year from Porsche for this), new brake lines, fuel lines, Koni suspension, the list goes on an one. The transmission shifts as new. While the engine was not rebuilt, it was determined it was not needed. The car was then treated to a windows out, stripped to the metal repaint in original Schwarz black which is an awesome color. Black in the dark - a touch of metallic brown in the light. So many compliments. The is all original except, I took two liberties during the restoration. I replaced the factory wheel with a Momo Prototipo (have original wheel), and I installed a 2-tip Danske exhaust and C pipe, necessitating a turbo left rear bumper cap piece. (easily reversible). The car is sold with original Cup wheels with new tires (currently has Speedlines and massive Brembo front and rear brake kit)(glad to discuss
these separately if of interest). High miles, but car gets compliments everywhere, and runs beautifully. I would not in the one pic rear C4 script is missing (they had not done the buff out yet in pic) - Script is back on car.
Interior is in perfect shape, other than passengers seat has a wave of discoloration mid-seat cushion - like a wave. I guarantee could be died out very easily.
