60K? If this is a clean title than that's the deal for the year. If it is, I will buy it if the buyer falls through. Please email me - phil.ahad@gmail.com

Sorry that I won't be able to get back to everyone that sent me a pm. I got inundated!!
Sale is still pending for over my original asking price, but yes, someone is going to get the deal of the year. Here's the DME report I just got this morning. Awesome, isn't it?
A lesson to all of you DE'ers... no need to thrash these cars to make them go fast. Get some instruction!

I dont know if it's the deal of the century, but I do know I was the first person to leave a deposit pending DME read and PPI at the seller's full asking price. I was called this morning to be told that there are higher offers than the asking price.
The posting should have been advertised as an auction and not an offer to sell at an asking price.
Best of luck to the bidders, I'm now out of this transaction.

I'm sorry to hear this. Similar thing happened when I listed my 993, but I sold it for asking price to the first party that was serious.

I'm not sure if there was any malice or just a misunderstanding of how things should be done/advertised (seller doesn't seem to be a jerk based on my interactions with him).
Worst part of it all is that I took a deposit on my cayman to make room for this, so now I either have no car at all or go do the same thing and rip my deal with my buyer (also a rennlister).
At the end of the day, no one's dying but it sure is a crappy way to start a week...cheers!

I dont think its "the deal of the century". It has 30k miles, tracked to death(nothing wrong with that) and it has accident history where bags were deployed. If this car had no stories it's an $80k car. Accident alone is a 10% hit at minimum and a track car has to be another 10% minimum which brings it close to his asking price. Its a fair deal if you ask me. Btw, not cool on the reneg for the first deposit(I hate that ****).
