Fully agree. People who buy "expensive" cars albeit over MSRP or just MSRP for the likes of Bugatti et al., it is their money and can do whatever they want with their money. If they have that kind of money, they MUST be doing something RIGHT, correct.
The other benefit to that for the rest of us mortals, don't we benefit from that, that the car brand we own PORSCHE, is so "Desirable", that there are many people willing to pay over MSRP. Why do we have to be so negative about life, and these highly desirable PORSCHES? Let it be folks, it is just a car and money anyways. The last time I checked, you can't take with you.
Now let me go to the garage and enjoy this weather with a relaxed cruise.
+1M, All I can say is I love PORSCHES (e.g., 911R, et. al.,)
Drive safe,

Love the "R". Always will. But got an allocation for the GT3 Touring.
About the only thing I like better now on the "R" is the seats. So 200,000
more to get the cool seats would be a bit much. Guess since its a numbered car and you wanted to just put it in the garage and look at it that is what I would have to do. If you want to actually drive, you would have to go with the new GT3 Touring. If the prices continues to drop, and they will, I might look at one in the future say at 50,000 or less over. If not oh well still will have my GT3 Touring or something better as we always see from Porsche.

Now that the car is sold I will comment. It's obvious Porsche is leaving a significant amount of money on the table with these cars if buyers are will to pay almost 2x MSRP. As a shareholder in Porsche, I hope they significantly raises the prices on these cars in the future as its obvious buyers will pay it. The shareholders and Porsche should be reaping the rewards, not second hand dealers. My $0.02.
