This is a 2012 'Gen II' version of the 997 cup car which was the 'ultimate' and final spec of that particular model before the 991 version was introduced a few years later. Relatively few 'Gen2' cars were built making them quite rare.

This particular car was campaigned in the German Carrera Cup Series for 2012 and then bought by a Belgian Porsche Racing Team. They used the car sporadically in Carrera Cup Races and other competitions. As far as we know, it was last used in anger in 2014/2015 and has since been in collections.

The engine has 28 hours total running time recorded, the gearbox has 8 hours and the drive shafts are reported to have 8 hours of life.

Recently gone through completely by Orbit Racing.
