Thinking about planning a trip to do a factory delivery of my trailer.

Any areas to stay away from? Google is routing me around the west side of town.

Depending on time and sitting on my butt for that long I may have to stop in Terre Haute before continuing.

Hotel and nearby restaurant recommendations would be welcome.

Stay away from the Taco Bell 1/2 mile from Indy. Scott Dixon and Dario Franchetti were held up at gun point in the drive through line after he won the pole.

Have had good experiences at Wyndham near hotel. Palomino is a nice downtown dinner place.

Do you need to stay in hotel after picking up the trailer?
If not, there are some good hotels downtown (i.e. JW Marriott, Westin).
If you need trailer access, there's a Sheraton @ keystone crossing (north side) or an embassy suites on Vincennes road (northwest side).
