Yeah, this is one of the nutty things they do. It also means the deck height is higher than it really needs to be - and I find it harder to load cars into/onto a trailex than other solutions with much lower decks.

That's because you need ridiculously long ramps to load a really low car on to a Trailex. This is the main thorn in the side of Trailex ownership.

I recently went through this. I ended up with a 24 foot 100% aluminum enclosed trailer. I shopped all the major brands and I was most impressed with sundowner. A bit unknown in the car community I think, but very well-known in the horse community. Many of the little details were a level above the competitors in terms of build quality. I ended up at about 20K out the door.
