My shop installed trailer hitch and controller. But there is one final programming tweak with a PWIS3 needed so that the car sees the trailer brakes and lights. Without this the Cayenne/18 show a fault.
Using 7 Pin brake test plug does not show this error.

My 2018 sees the trailer, turns off rear view proximity sensor, lights, flashers and all of that work. (same as with 7 pin test plug) But it is only the trailer brakes and lights that it does not see.
For this I am told a PWI3 is needed and my shop doesn't have that.
My local dealer in Manhattan has no clue how to do this. And I am not comfortable having the try to do this. Especially without an actual trailer to test on.

Can anyone make a suggestion for a dealer / shop in the greater NY metro area that has the PWIS3 and knows how to do this?

Trailer I will pull all have LED lights. Trailer or Featherlight depending on what I am pulling. Any additional cautionary notes?

How far is Speedsport Tuning in Danbury from you? I would assume they have done a handful of trailer hitch installs for some of their Track car customers.

Manhattan Motorcars says they can do it, but the acid test apparently is plugging into an actual trailer. Doubt they have one handy.

I'll give Manhattan Motorcars due credit. They did the programming and it was perfect. Guy I got trailer from tried for years to get the coding right with various experts. He bought a a dongle to simulate mode load. But my car was programmed perfectly and lit everything it should.
