Default 4 and 5 pin connectors

Ok, not race car related. I am fixing a friend's boat trailer, very light weight one that after years of salt water abuse managed to spit out the bearings on one side. While I am in there... some of the wiring is crap-tastic and plain wrong, and I'd like to fix it for him. I have looked for the 4- or 5-pin standard connector as just the connector shell plus crimp pins, but am finding only pre-made connectors with wires of varying lengths. Can the shell and pins be bought somewhere? Cheers,

I have never seen a 4 pin that was not molded together. E-trailer has prebuilt harness that u may be able to adapt if u dont want splices.

I think they are always molded together. I would suggest looking at a harbor freight kit and just rewiring the whole trailer if it's really bad. It might save you a headache or three.

Yeah, makes sense. I opened up the four light modules (two rear, two side), all are corroded beyond hope. Funny thing, salt water. I should have remembered what it did to my 190E2.3-16! Cheers,

I bought a complete light and wiring kit for one of my boat trailers on Amazon, it was $37.00 CDN and it came with a 25ft wire bundle, the
price was right and it was decent quality , just check the gauge of the wiring harness before you buy, they differ a lot !

Cheers
Phil
