Need advice on enclosed trailer for sale
24 ft enclosed trailer for sale near me. Was obviously not built to be car trailer, but wondering if it could be made to work.
Interior sheathed with plywood, don't know thickness or how much it weighs. Would removing it hurt structural integrity?
Not familiar with manufacturer, anyone know of them?
No escape door. Is 90 inches enough to exit car (996)?
Is price ($12750) reasonable?

U only have 3400lbs of available cargo. Its way too heavy as a trailer for 7k of axle. U never want to run a trailer at capacity. Its a typical landscapers trailer as they need more room then capacity. That size trailer should be on 5k axles.

If you are still in Maine, you can buy a new nicer / better equipped car hauler for right around that asking price. IMO, you want 10K GVWR min if you are buying a 20+ ft steel enclosed.

i just sold an aluminum enclosed 20' trailer that had similar specs. it obviously weighed less but i used it to pull my GT3 and what everyone is saying is correct, you dont want to pull that close to capacity it will pull like crap. also for that price you could get something way nicer that is more suited to what you need. that trailer is worth $7-8k imo, good luck with whatever you do!

Agree with all the above - keep looking - should be much better trailers for your needs. For the asking price I would think you could find the axles, tie downs, tire rack, work bench, etc. that you will need.. If you were on the west coast I'd invite you to look at my all aluminum car hauler altho they go for a bit more but 3 7k axles and more bells and whistles.
