Hi. On my Trailex, none of the interior lights work. Is there something I am missing obviously. I have tried thre on off switch, swapped cars. I do have a led light adapter. Could that be the problem?

Do you have a battery in the trailer?

Winch works, battery is not dead. I don't know if it is charging since I Charge off AC. I will need to do more testing, not sure if there are some other fuses that I might have missed

Truck battery runs the interior lights on a trailex. I know this because I don't have a battery on the trailer. The interior lights only work when: The truck is attached AND HEADLIGHTS ON, the individual switches are on, and the master switch is on. Took me about a decade to figure out why the lights only sometimes worked.
I'll be hooking up the trailer tomorrow and can confirm this.
I can't remember but I think--I'm pretty sure-- there's a fuse for the trailer aux on my f150 as well.

As mentioned above the inside led light power comes from the truck plug in power.
Do all of the turning, running and brake lights work?
Trailex has a general wiring diagram on their site and the panel is under the left front side of frame. Steel screws in aluminum bad idea.
Battery for Winch or jack most likely not wired into trailer wiring that charges from the truck.
Hopefully a simple plug problem.

I spoke in error.
On the trailex site the newer trailer option of “battery” states that the inside lights, front jack and winch all are supplied by the battery inside the trailer and the 7 pin truck plug will charge the battery on the newer ones. My interior lights came from the plug on my 15 and my winch and front jack were wired directly to the battery and did not charge from the plug.
Depending on what year trailer you have you may be best served with a call to Carl and ask him some general questions.
