Tire pressure question
Trailex came with “c” load tires originally and the old trailex manual says inflate to 50 lbs as do the sides of c load tires.
After many sets of crappy Chinese (“cultural revolution” brand) tires over the years, I sprang for the Goodyear Endurance tires, “d” Load and they say 65lbs max on the sidewall. Trailer is maybe 5500 lbs loaded.
Am I inflating the Goodyear tires to 50 so or 65 ?

My D load tires say “For max load inflate to 65 PSI”. Max load for a D loaded tire is about 2000 lbs. I inflate to 65 PSI even though my Trailex is only 5500 lbs loaded.

I always run max pressure as it cuts down on tread squirm the number one reason trailer tires fail.

Goodyear has published a load/inflation table for the Endurance tire. Just google it.
It shows the minimum pressure needed to support the load on the tire. Going with a higher pressure is acceptable.

65lbs on Goodyears "D"s and I installed a TPMS on my Trailex enclosed, so I can watch temps and pressures while loaded. See temps in the 120+ range and pressures up from 65 to the mid 70s.
Funny, sunny side of trailer will have higher temps and pressures, then the shaded side while towing, go figure.
Goodyears are "snug" at the top to the Trailex fender. Some skid marks on the underside of the fenders. Added bump stops on frame rails above axels to stop them fully bottoming out over "bumps".
YMWV.
