Default Experience with rear wheel trailer dollies?

Hi Peeps. has anyone used the rear wheel dollies which go under the rearwheels, enabling one to push the trailer sideways and back into tight spaces ? say flush to a rear fence on a driveway. seems one could use these in combo with a lawn tractor to push it sideways into place,... along with a front ball motorized dolly (or even a ball attachment to the tractor to manouever the front). Getting my 28 ft flush against the rear of driveaway , even just for winter storage would do wonders for dinner conversation with the wifesky....
thank you. frank

Yes, have used "jack-up wheel doilies" to maneuver an enclosed Trailex (and a Genie 34/20) within an enclosed outbuilding to get in "snug" for the winters. Just spent this past weekend getting them "outdoors".

Lawn mower will work, but if you can find a secure anchor point, a come-along/Werner drill winch makes easy work of scooting it sideways. This all assumes a smooth flat surface.

Storing them this way (snug) can also be a big deterrent to theft if not easily accessible to cut/hitch and go.

Thanks Kein. that drill winch is pretty cool. never seen one. so by anchor point , you mean a point to anchor the werner hook:. say a fence post you are trying to winch the trailer towards. then just winch both ends of the trailer until flush with the fence.

for the dollies, you need to use a floor jack to get them under the wheels? what is purpose then of the "jack-up" mechanism

thanks. frank.

Yes the base of a 4x4 post will work as an anchor.
