Default 90's tow vehicles

family friend has a 90's ford 7.3 dually that i can pick up cheap. $7500

anyone have any experience towing with something that old vs a modern truck.

24 foot enclosed

presently tow with a v10 gas but SRW

will be fine if you can deal with an older platform. 7.3 is solid. Might be a less refined experience than a newer pickup, but the vehicle should handle that enclosed no sweat.

Other than being noisy, the 7.3 is a fantastic engine, tough to kill! My 250 was a 2002, so I can't comment on the chassis or running gear from a '90's truck, but the engine rocks.

thx

you look at these new trucks and i wonder how anyone towed anything 30 +/- years ago.

i guess they drove much slower and it was a ton more dangerous
