Default How do you find out which bearings to use?

I have a Pace trailer. They went bankrupt and another company bought them. Contacted the new company to find out what bearings I should order and they said "I don't know." Really? You didn't get all their assets in the bankruptcy? Thanks for nothing.

I may give eTrailer or a place like that my info and see if they can figure it out but curious if anyone else knows how to figure out the replacements on their own. I've only repacked the bearings since buying this trailer about 5 years ago and I am going to have an issue if I don't get them swapped out soon.

Suggestions?

I think there are only a handful of different bearings that most trailer manufactures use. Just pop the bearings out and get the part number.

Wouldn't there be danger to rub off the PN while cleaning off the grease; after all he said its been 5 years?

Bearings are pretty universal, no? If you have an inner diameter, out diameter, and thickness, you can find tons of companies that can help you... Grab some calipers...

If you don't have EZ-lube spindles already, you might want to consider them.
