California car til 2007 when it came to Long Island. Garage queen, exceptionally clean and well maintained. New radiator, new P/S, new oil lines, red Boge sport shocks, too many maint. details to list here, but I have a log of what I have done if you are interested. It has S3 cams for more low end grunt, performs like a GT. All original parts included if you desire to return it to original. It has an after-market amp and MB Quart speakers in the original ports, no cutting of panels, original fit, except the bass added to the rear hatch. It has a high-end re-paint, but has never been involved in any accident. It has a rear muffler by-pass, clean NY title in my name. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires (and the battery) are just over 2 years old. I love having it in my garage and to just listen to it idle, (not to mention drive) but it is time for someone else to enjoy this beauty.

I've seen Steve's car several times. It is extremely well cared for, an attractive color, and really a beautiful car. The next caretaker is going to have a great GTS to drive and enjoy.

Gary, thanks for the kind words. Since this listing started last year, I have fixed the two things that seemed to bother lookers, i.e., the 996 steering wheel has been returned to original and the unsightly bracket that sat above the central air vent is gone without a trace. The local interior specialist fixed two other things. Pete is going to fix the stubborn passenger window motor for the second time in 3 years next month. And Gertrude will reside happily in my garage for another Winter.
@SteveG hey there, your ad should no longer be listed as a 'vendor' listing.
