Car is a 2007 in guards red. my understanding is only 62 guards red were produced. highly optioned car as per build sheet I'll get the bad out of the way first: previous owner had an off and broke the wheel carriers/knuckles. trying to be slick he had the insurance total the car and bought it back so it now has a rebuilt title. i have pics of this incident. this repair consisted of front suspension components and bumper cover. Still not sure why the insurance would agree to total it but they did.
I also had a little incident which required replacement of bumper cover, fender, headlight and radiator pod. I have pics of this also. Since red is hard to match I had the entire car repainted. they did a great job and the car looks fantastic. No frame damage occurred in either incident.
My history with it: I bought it with 37k miles. it now has 60k miles. yes, I drive it. Yes, I've tracked it 5 times. once sebring, twice homestead, once road atlanta and once atlanta motorsports park. Very low overrevs and I don't think any of them during my ownership. I use the car around town. I take road trips up to the smoky mountains with it. Generally just enjoy the car. I've been very good about maintenance.
this is list of things I've done, or at least that I can remember. some maintenance and some upgrades:
coil packs / spark plugs
water pump
belt
pinned coolant lines
bmc air filter
sharwerks cooler elbows
transmission/lsd refresh by copans
LWFW, RMS (since I was in there) and lightweight pulley
front RSS control arms, tie rods and thrust arms (though not RSS)
rear RSS control arms, dog bones and toe arm with locking thingy
pagid yellow pads all around
Michelin sport cup 2's with lots of life left
from memory that's all I can remember. If you guys can think of something else I should have done please ask. there's a good chance I did. I always kept up with the car and gave it whatever it needed. I was never looking to sell this car but the purchase of a white 997.1 GT3RS has me thinking twice. I don't need two .1's. Now, the car is a driver. it does have some rock chips etc since I drive it and enjoy it. But I would not hesitate at all to drive this car anywhere. It is turnkey and can't think of anything the car needs at this time.
I'm trying to be as transparent as I can. Given today's crazy market I'm having a hard time coming up with an asking price. I can't find one lower than the 140's and they go up from there. Mine has all the proper maintenance and mods that anyone buying a driver car would want and can save themselves the time, money and hassle of having to do it themselves and that in itself should have some value. Given the title status I think taking 25% off the otherwise cheapest car would leave me at $105k so that will be my asking price or best offer. At this price it is by far the cheapest and most sorted 997.1 GT3 anywhere. Best part is you can just hop in and enjoy.

After many months of bs, tire kickers, time wasters, and generally ignorant people who prefer to lowball me instead of actually acknowledging the bargain that was this car, I’m taking it off the market.
No longer for sale.
I’m going to keep it and drive the wheels off it.
Because I know it’s a rock solid car with many, many years of life left in it.

Great car at a great price from a great seller!!! What else do you want??? Just buy it and enjoy the hell out of it without worrying about putting miles and taking out of the garage. Very nicely sorted and maintained too. Can’t go wrong. Shouldn’t last long.

Seller is as honest as they come and this is the best-value 997 GT out there right now. Have spent a lot of time around the car, it's exactly as represented and if you're looking for a GT3 to enjoy and put miles on, you won't be disappointed.

Someone would be very happy to put miles on this one. I have never not driven it because of putting miles. On the contrary, I welcomed miles. In my opinion cars with miles are usually better sorted and maintained than cars with few miles.

Default Some questions

Great looking car!
A few questions:
- you mentioned there was no frame damage after either accident - did you have the car on a frame jig or otherwise measure it?
- pls educate me - why replace OEM lower control arms and the other oem components with RSS? Also - do you still have OEM?
- why was the trans/diff refreshed? Any issues? What exactly has been done?

1) I have not had it measured but since the tub was not hit I felt no reason to. Car aligns and drives 100% straight
2) I replaced all the control arms because I felt like it, not because it needed it. Monoball joints hold alignment much better than oem rubber when under load and it is noticable. Yes, I still have all the original parts
3) I had the transmission done by Copans because of a chipped 1st gear. I did this trying to get the car sideways on a skidpad with the traction control on, which was my mistake. The car shook like crazy and I believe that is what caused the gear to chip a tooth. ever since then it had a tick tick in first gear. So I removed the gearbox and sent it in for repair. He replaced the mainshaft, shift sleeves and synchros. Also the oem lsd's wear very quickly. He put new lsd disks and tensioned it to 45 ftlbs. It all works flawless now. At that time I replaced the RMS and installed a lightweight flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and the unobtanium (at the time) factory light crank pulley. The last one in North America at the time, had to be ordered from a Porsche dealer in Canada.

Nice car, but weird that a hit that broke the suspension wasn't put on a Celetter for measuring.
