Default Rear reflector delete/cover up

I know this is probably vain but I don’t like the DOT mandated orange front side markers and the red reflectors in the rear bumper and rear sides. I, like many others, replaced the orange front side markers with OEM clear markers from Suncoast that light up orange. From some research it seems there are no available replacements for the rear set of red reflectors and removing them is a major pain.

I thought I’d share the before and after of some available pre-cut vinyl cover ups. I chose dark smoked all around. I received Oracal brand vinyl that was easy to work with. Application for all 4 took maybe 20 minutes from cleaning the surface to post-heating the vinyl to ensure adhesion.

I think they clean up the rear bumper in particular. The rear sides aren’t deleted but at least in dark smoke they aren’t red and sort of match up with various black trim. Cost was $30 both sets from AeroFlowDymanics.

It's a requirement. Nice work
Did you get the Euro side markers for the fronts?

I sure did! To me, they are mandatory and significantly improves the looks. I got the OEM parts from Suncoast and interestingly, there are different versions for sedan and CT. The CT version were $10 more. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Different plastic pieces over the wheel arches, I suspect.

Similar rear bumper "reflectors" on other Porsche models are rear fog lights. Are they not rear fog lights on the Taycan?

No, they are not fog lights on the Taycan. They are just reflectors. The fog lights on the Taycan are in the light bar on either side of the PORSCHE lettering.
