Unfortunately, for charging mounts all they have are magsafe, which didn't work for me since I have an Android and don't want to install a bulky magsafe case, and mounts that size to a specific device, which wouldn't work since my wife drives the car as well. However, proclip mounts have a standard AMPS connection, so any AMPS mount works. Which should make it easy, but it still took a few different pieces:
(There are many different chargers of this sort you could use; they key is that they have a 17mm ball mount.)
Order these screws from proclip along with the base, as it doesn't come with them: https://www.proclipusa.com/products/...crews-mpn-sk19
And finally you'll need a ~3ft black USB-C to USB-C cable. (The ones that come with most mounts are USB-A on one end, but you need type C to plug into the Taycan console.)
Then you can just run the cable straight down from the mount to the area beside the passenger seat, and then back up into the center console. I've seen some run it through the trim under the cup holder, but it's really not necessary IMO; just running it along the floor beside the seat keeps it out of sight fine.
Anyway, I think it looks great, almost factory. And the mount senses the phone when you drop it in and grips automatically, then it's just a button on the side to let it go. Way more convenient than the stupid clip in the center console!
I have the same Pro Clip on the center stack, but bought the magnetic holder. I have a thin rubber cellphone case for my Android phone, and put a 3M double-sided tape magnet to the inside of my case. It has enough strength that I can just toss the phone on the magnetic holder and it never falls off.
Sure, the magnet could mess with the inductive charging but I never really use that, I charge it with the cable like you do. The inductive charger in my Taycan overheats the phone within minutes anyway.

I actually use wireless charging all the time. This mount has an inductive charger. It's more convenient to just toss the phone in there without having to plug it in. In my 911 I have one of the proclip wired chargers, which works well since it's perfectly sized to the phone—so again you can just drop it in, but that doesn't work when sharing with someone else with a different size phone.
Ideal would be proper magsafe with charging, but that's not really possible on Android yet without adding a lot of bulk. One area where iphone is definitely superior. (But I like Android for other reasons.)

Oh I see, that's a nice setup. Looking at your picture real quick I assumed it had a USB-C style connector at the bottom that you slid the phone on.

I have been using this phone mount solution but the only issue is I can’t locate an ac adapter less than the 16mm listed in owners manual
Every adapter I have ordered from Amazon even flush mounts are over 16mm This comes with a magnet you can add to any device or holder if needed. In my case the iPhone attaches securely without having to remove it from the case I keep the chord inside the center console when not charging

@charlie the device is easy to install. Simply place the top half of the phone holder over the centre console (so it almost saddles it) then push the bottom half of the holder toward the centre console until it clicks into place.
