Default LKA - successfully coded off on 2025 Taycan

We've done a bunch of coding on the 992 platform, but the new 2025 Taycan with PVD (protection of vehicle diagnostics) makes it nearly impossible to code, and whatever coding is accomplished requires unlocking of modules with Porsche Virtual Tester. Even with those hurdles, Mars @rnlst_log and I were able to successfully code in the HD Matrix lights, and more impressively, permanently code out LKA (Lane Keep Assist). In my book, LKA is the MOST annoying nanny, and cannot be turned off by default. Thus, every time you start up your 2025+ Taycan (and many other new Porsches), you need to manually turn it off by holding the small button on the bottom of the cruise control stalk.

It took a ton of trial and error, but we figured out a work around to permanently code this off - notice in the shot that there is no icon for the LKA - it's normally on the left side bottom left next to cruise control. Major victory! Thanks Mars . . . I highly suggest working with Mars if you would like any custom PIWIS programming done - he's a wiz.
NO MORE LKA!!!
NO MORE LKA!!!

What's the problem with the magic carpet light? I love it on my Cayenne. Greatly improves safety, especially when it rains and the lane markings are not reflective or missing.

No problem - LOVE them!! We had to code those "in" - not activated in the US. We coded LKA nanny out, and coded HD Matrix in . .

I have to say, I'm more than thrilled that we were able to delete the LKA - it seemed like a nearly impossible task at times!

Strong work Mars!

He's going to help me out with matrix activation next month. It's winter here, and we get 9 hours of daylight right now. So lots of driving in the dark.
